Bayside Dental & Orthodontics at 2300 7th Street Suite #600, Bay City, Texas.

Started the process of all on fours here. Had oral surgery scheduled for 12-13-17 at 930am. The Doctors were over a hour late showing up, complete disregard and major inconvenience to my ride that was waiting for my prescriptions and then she was headed to work, which they made her late for. As for myself, I worked 12.5hrs the night before and also had to go with nothing to eat or drink after midnight.

All aspects of the financials were fully covered prior to surgery date (several times), I pulled out funds from my 401k for the procedure! I talked to Dr MO the night before and told him my check hadn’t cleared yet, that it could in the morning or by the latest Friday my post op date. I realize there is significant expense with this, we had acceptable arrangements made for both parties. The Doctors changed tunes and did a 180.
We had already taken my impressions etc etc, when they realized we were rescheduling and I decided there would be no way I would let them provide services to me, they tried taking another set of impressions stating this was for the final lol. You take impressions for the final once the implants are in and your gums have healed. What this unprofessional office was trying to do is get any service they could to bill my insurance. I should write a complaint to the ethics board but believe this will suffice!!!!!!

If you are spending your hard earned money, I advise that you spend it at a professional office that’s courteous and puts the patient first! The office staff Vanessa and Selena & the young Hispanic gentleman are a pleasure to work with! The Dentists however were Completely unprofessional and wasted my time, as well as told me different fabricated statements that they ordered the parts, then had to order parts, then that they just barely ordered them! They told me that the prosthesis was already made. I can bet the back 40 that they had nothing of the sort made as of yet.

I’ve contacted my insurance provider and advised them that I will dispute any and all egregious charges from this office on 12-13-17. Not only were the dentists drastically late, not a one of them apologized for their tardiness or said Good Morning! Their sweet office attendant Selena apologized repeatedly for them!!!

I will definitely be spending my $$ at a another dentists office. As I have a consultation the morning of the 14th, with a “American” dentist! I don’t care if it costs me more $$ with a different office, They advertise $8000 off the all on four treatment, I NEVER saw ANY such reduction in fees!!! Buyer beware, do your homework and choose a well reviewed and reputable Dental Office!!
